to create a second
life for resources otherwise doomed to waste. oversized shapes means you will probably never outgrow them so they get to stay for as long as you like.
made in belgium at Celesta. we choose Celesta for their no nonsense approach and deep knowledge of the industry, taking local craftsmanship to a bigger audience. we have been working together with this family run business since 2003 and we love the idea their seamstresses have the same life standard as we do. ah, the perks of local production.
one size fits most. it takes Celesta and us 4-8 weeks to process your order. we choose not to have stock in order to avoid waste of natural and human resources.
our transparent cotton/silk blend is a feast for the eyes. like a black fog inviting your gaze to pierce through. silk is a renewable fiber which is 100% biodegradable, even in this blend mixed with cotton. we choose to work with tissages Perrin (1929°) because they are a family run business turning french savoir faire into luxury goods to wear on our skin. we love Perrin for always surprising us with these gamechanging developments and keeping their products made in france. a local production means easy control and thus transparency and low transportation impact during development and production.
this silk can be machine washed on ‘delicate cycle’ and no temperature, using special silk washing soap. lay flat to dry and remove most wrinkles by flattening them with your hand. plan your wardrobe and consider repairing, swapping or upcycling your items when no longer in use.
